To address the food scarcity issues that many college students around the country face, Kirkwood has established a Student Food Pantry on both our main campus and our regional center location in Coralville. All currently enrolled Kirkwood students are invited to receive grocery items from the Student Food Pantry once-a-week at NO cost!
We’re here for you during the holiday break! The main campus food pantry will be open on:
December 27: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
December 31: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Access Details:
Enter Iowa Hall through the 2nd-floor atrium entrance. A food pantry staff member will escort you to the 3rd floor (Iowa Hall 3038) via the elevator near the vestibule. This service is available for all registered credit students and high school completion students.

Upon arrival, please check in at the Student Services Check-in Desk on the 3rd Floor of Iowa Hall (outside of Admissions, Career Services, and Financial Aid offices)

Come into the pantry to shop or have staff provide pre-packaged bags. Drop-in services are available during operating hours OR students can schedule a time to pick up items.
** Mondays, 2 – 5 p.m. and Wednesdays, 3 – 5 p.m. are reserved for Calendly-scheduled pickups only. No walk-in appointments are available during these times
