Kirkwood for Kids Summer Camp

Put the Kirkwood for Kids Camp Summer Camp on your calendar! Camp has been revamped and reimagined with fun, engaging classes you won't want to miss! Students will build lasting friendships in their cohort groups and extended classroom times allow for thorough investigation of each topic.
Bus transportation will be provided with convenient pick-up and drop-off locations throughout the county for those who need it. Locations include: Stewart Elementary, Lincoln Elementary, Riverside Elementary, Waco, Mid-Prairie East Elementary (Kalona), Lone Tree, and Brighton.

We also have a separate camp experience designed for middle school students called Camp Exploration at Kirkwood. Check it out!

Camp Details and Registration Information Below. NOTE: Students should register for the camp experience of their current grade level of the 2024-2025 academic year.


Kindergarten & AK 
Tuition: $110 (materials and fees included)
Students will explore a new theme each day with engaging crafts, games, and theme-based activities. Daily themes are:

Dinosaur Discovery
Campout
Mini Makers
All About Me


1st & 2nd Grade
Tuition: $110 (materials and fees included)
Students attend two classes each day, participating in each of the exciting classes listed below.

Party in the USA
Over the Rainbow
Storybook Adventures
Engineering Explorers (2 day)
Water Wonders
Candy Science (2 day)


3rd – 5th Grade
Tuition: $110 (materials and fees included)
Students attend two classes each day, participating in each of the exciting classes listed below.

Secret Agent: On a Mission

Shark Tank (2 day)
Optical Illusions
Snack Lab Adventures


Camp Exploration at Kirkwood: 6th – 9th Grade Camp
Students should register for the camp experience of their current grade level of the 2024-2025 academic year.

Tuesday, July 22 – Thursday, July 24, 2025
9 a.m. – noon


Tuition: $110 (materials and fees included)
Middle school students, have some fun this summer while exploring exciting potential careers. Students will choose from one of the following class offerings – click into each to learn more and register.

Gearhead Garage
CSI
Metal Mavericks
Beginning Graphic Design


Each camp is packed with hands-on activities in classrooms and labs with real industry equipment.
Scholarships are available for those who qualify.
