One Easy Application
Kirkwood’s scholarship program provides support for students at all academic and financial levels, and for all credit programs.
Kirkwood uses a scholarship software to connect Kirkwood Eagles to hundreds of internal scholarship opportunities! Best of all, Kirkwood students only need to complete one easy application to be considered.
Students can also view external scholarship opportunities from organizations outside of Kirkwood using the ‘External Scholarship Opportunities’ link to the right.

- Application for Kirkwood Scholarships opens
- Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available to complete online
March 15:
- First application deadline for Kirkwood Scholarships
July 15:
- Second application deadline for Kirkwood Scholarships
Writing Thank-You Letters
Once you're notified that you've received a scholarship, it's important to write the donor a thank you note to show your appreciation.
“Nearing the end of high school, I figured out what I wanted to do with my life. I fell in love with the idea of being able to help people through the occupational therapy program. I’m so excited to begin this journey at Kirkwood and to begin to give back to my community. Being awarded a Kirkwood scholarship has inspired me to keep going with my future plans.”
