Support For Our Students.
Support For Our Future.

Accessible education is the cornerstone of the Kirkwood mission. A scholarship is more than financial aid - it may determine whether a student can attend college.  The Kirkwood Foundation will award $1.6 million in scholarships for the 2008-2009 school year.

Some Kirkwood scholarships are based on academic excellence. Most are based on factors such as financial need, community involvement, leadership, program or major, or other requirements.

A scholarship committee composed of Kirkwood faculty and staff, representing multiple areas of the college, screens the applications. For specific scholarships, academic department scholarship committees choose recipients.
