GRADUATION

An on-line graduation application should be submitted.

Please read before completing the form:

• Please complete all items in full.
  
• The name you supply should be your legal name and the same as that on your permanent record at the college.
  
• To have your name included in the commencement program and on graduation lists provided to local newspapers, you must submit the application by: April 1
  
• Your award, or notification of failure to graduate, will be mailed to the address you give below approximately four (4) to six (6) weeks following the end of the term in which graduation requirements are met.
  
• The college holds one commencement each year in May at the end of the spring semester. All fall, spring and summer graduates are invited to attend this ceremony. You will be mailed complete information.
  
• If you find you will not be completing graduation requirements for this term and have submitted a graduation application form, please contact Enrollment Services, 2nd Floor, Kirkwood Hall, or call 319-398-5634. You will need to submit another graduation application for the term in which requirements will be met.

COMMENCEMENT 

MAY 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the US Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids, IA

Kirkwood commencement exercises are held once each year in May at the end of the spring semester. Students who complete their programs in the fall, spring and summer terms are invited and encouraged to attend the May ceremony. Participation is voluntary. The award will be mailed to you when semester grades are recorded and evaluated, approximately four to six weeks after the end of the term. If you have not met graduation requirements, you will be notified after semester grades have been recorded and your transcript has been examined for successful completion of program requirements. You will need to reapply for graduation when you register for the course(s) that will complete your degree or diploma.
