Priority registration includes the total of your earned hours.
Students currently registered that have earned 0 credits may reqister on the last day of priority registration, ahead of students who were not currently registered.

Have synonym numbers and course/section numbers ready, You may also register in person at Enrollment Services, 2nd Floor, Kirkwood Hall. You may register AFTER, but not BEFORE your assigned time.
Dates for Spring 2010Priority Registration are November 18-24, 2009. Students who are currently registered will be notified through the mail and email of their registration priority. Registration priority determines the first time that you will be allowed to register. Priority is based upon the total number of credits earned to date.

EARLY REGISTRATION FOR NEW STUDENTS
New Arts and Sciences students will be notified by the Advising & Transfer Center about registration procedures.
New students in Applied Science and Technology programs will be notified by their program coordinators of the exact time and place for registration.
If you are a new student and have not received information about registration, please contact your program coordinator or the Advising, Testing and Transfer Center.

OPEN AND FINAL REGISTRATION
If you missed or were not eligible for priority registration, you can use the convenience of EagleNet Online Registration or phone registration by calling 319-398-5412. You may register in person at Enrollment Services, 2nd Floor, Kirkwood Hall.
Have synonym numbers and course/section numbers ready when you register.
If you prefer to register in person but do not know what courses to register for, Arts and Sciences students should go to the Advising & Transfer Center located at 108 Iowa Hall. Applied Science and Technology and Career Option students should go to the office of the appropriate department.
CHANGE REGISTRATION
Prior to and up through the 1st week of a 16-week term (through 3rd day of shorter sessions)
You can use the convenience of EagleNet Online Registration or phone registration by calling 319-398-5412. You may also change registration in person at Enrollment Services located at 2nd Floor, Kirkwood Hall. Have synonym numbers and course/section numbers ready.
100% Refund through 1st week of term.
*50% Refund through 2nd week of term.
Refunds are given through the 14th calendar day of the term. The exceptions to this policy are classes that meet only once or twice, or only one weekend. There is no refund for these classes beginning the day of the first class meeting.
Add forms are required for classes saying a petition is required.
The signature of the Instructor and Dean are required to add a course that requires a petition.
* You can drop a course and add back an equal number of credit hours without penalty through the 14th day of the semester for full semester classes however they must be done at the same time and on the same form for the tuition to switch from one course to the other. If the course dropped is more credits than the course added, the remainder refund would be at 50%.
Complete withdrawals may be done online which will include answering a few questions.
