All campus community members are expected to self-report COVID-19 symptoms, and/or diagnosis.

If you are an employee or student who is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please use this link to start a case file:

Please use the link above to begin the COVID-19 reporting process. Your case will be dispatched in the order it was received and a case manager will follow-up with phone calls and email correspondence within the next 24 – 48 hours.

If you have any general questions about the hotline, please send them to covidhotline@kirkwood.edu. The hotline can be reached by calling 319-784-1650. It will be staffed during normal business hours (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.) Monday through Friday. Voicemail messages left outside of business hours will be returned as quickly as possible.

 

The Purpose of COVID-19 Hotline is:

  • Help students and employees report COVID related illnesses and monitoring
  • Reduce exposure to other students, faculty, and staff
  • Communicate college protocols/rules for quarantine and isolation
  • Help assess the scope of COVID-19 infection among the Kirkwood community
  • Grant approvals for return to class and work
  • Provide guidance on COVID-19 related questions
