Danielle Ebaugh

Career Services Supervisor

Danielle started as career services coordinator with Kirkwood in 2008. Before her role as career services coordinator she worked in the field of human resources in recruiting. She now utilizes her training and experience in human resources to assist others with their job seeking skills. Some of these skills include: cover letters, resumes, filling out job applications, and helping you prepare for a job interview. She assists with employers gaining more visibility on the Kirkwood campus through events such as JOBS 411, career fairs, and networking lunches. She received her B.A. in Sociology from Coe College in 2005, and her Masters in Organizational Leadership from St. Ambrose University in 2014.

Lexi Fields

Career Services Coordinator

Lexi came to Kirkwood in 2017 as a career services coordinator and has worked with college students as a career coach since 2014. She educates students and community members on the whole process of career development, which includes career exploration, job seeking skills, professionalism, and everything in between. She also facilitates workshops on various career-related topics, is responsible for Kirkwood’s job posting website and is available for individual coaching sessions. Lexi received her B.A. in art from Saint Joseph's College in Indiana in 2016 and is currently working on her Master of Strategic Leadership from Mount Mercy University.

Morris Pounds

Faculty / Counselor

Morris Pounds has been a career counselor in the Student Services department at Kirkwood for 30 years. He works with approximately 1200 students, alumni, and community people each year in career exploration, personal, and job seeking areas. Morris is responsible for administrating and training of MBTI at Kirkwood. He is also responsible for scheduling, as well as facilitating some of the 220 Career Decision and Job Seeking Skills workshops each year. In addition, he teaches Career Decision Making, Job Seeking Skills, and Employment Search credit classes. Prior to becoming a career counselor, Morris was an Agribusiness coordinator/instructor at Kirkwood for six years. Mr. Pounds holds an M.A. in counseling from Truman State University along with a B.S. in Agriculture Education from Iowa State University. Morris has also served as a board member of the Iowa Community College Student Services Association for the past 26 years. Also, Morris is member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers.

Shauna Rasmussen

Career Services Coordinator

Shauna started as a career services coordinator with Kirkwood in 2017. Before coming to Kirkwood, she worked as a graduate assistant career coach in the office of Career Management at Ohio University helping undergraduate students develop their professional and job seeking skills, including resumes, cover letters, job applications, interviews, and internship and job searches. Shauna received her Master of Sports Administration and Master of Business Administration from Ohio University and her Bachelor of Business Administration: Marketing and Movement Exercise Science: Sport Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa, where she was also a member of the women’s soccer team.
