Iowa City Campus

In the Heart of Hawkeye Country

There's nothing like the Iowa City college experience and Kirkwood's Iowa City campus puts you in the center of it all – that exciting, big-university vibe combined with a unique and individualized approach to your success.

  • Smaller Classes... no 300-seat lecture halls.
  • Incredible faculty... many also teach at the university.
  • No teaching assistants... learn from academic experts, not grad students.
  • One-on-one support... free tutoring, writing support, counseling, and more!
  • Extracurricular opportunities... Phi Theta Kappa, Community Colleges for Democracy, Multicultural Club, and 60+ on-campus activities each year.

  • The Business Administration Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) program can serve as a 2-year degree allowing students to go directly into the workforce, or as a transfer option to The University of Iowa, Tippie College of Business or the Mount Mercy University, College of Business.

Austin Payne

“Choosing Kirkwood was an easy decision. I grew up watching the Hawkeyes and always wanted to go to school in Iowa City. Now I get to do that, but in a way that’s more on my terms. It’s the perfect situation for me, and I’m on track to transfer to the U of I in two years.”
