Free English Classes

Kirkwood Community College offers free English classes to adults. There are Beginning to Advanced Level classes. NOTE: You must be 16 years and 9 months or older. Childcare is not provided.

How to Register for English Classes

  1. Fill out online interest form below.
  2. We will contact you to schedule an information session.
  3. Attend the information session.
  4. Take reading and listening tests.
  5. Attend English classes once scheduled.

Morning and Evening Classes for 2024 – 2025

English Classes Sessions Are Offered:

  • Session 1: July 8, 2024 - August 22, 2024
  • Session 2: Sept. 3, 2024 - October 17, 2024
  • Session 3: Oct. 28, 2024 - December 19, 2024
  • Session 4: Jan. 21, 2025 - March 6, 2025
  • Session 5: March 24, 2025 - June 5, 2025
