Your registration fee includes available CEUs/CEHs/contact hours. Credit is awarded to those in: Nursing (RN, NP, LPN), Social Workers, Counselors, EMS Providers, and more. *Professions and awarded credit are subject to change. Please check back often for updates.
Continuing education credit will be awarded for only the sessions attended. Special continuing education instructions will be given on the day of the event. Once requirements have been met, the attendee will receive a Certificate of Completion after the event indicating credits awarded for their profession. Certificates will not be given the day of the event.
Certificates are issued by Kirkwood Community College (Iowa Board of Nursing, Provider #30). All allied health professionals are reminded that they are responsible for reviewing the governing rules of their boards to determine if appropriate subject matter criteria will apply. Please be prepared to provide license information when registering.

About the Speaker: Lisa Schaefer is an educator, counselor, college instructor, and the owner of Shine with Schaefer LLC, a coaching and consulting business that focuses on developing leadership skills in both employees and students. Lisa graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a master's degree in Counseling and a bachelor's degree in Psychology. She is a founding member of the John Maxwell Leadership Team and has presented trainings to over 100 different companies in the nation.

About the Speaker: Courtney Misener is a writer, professional speaker, and emotional health advocate. She served as the Director of Programs and Engagement at House of Hope in Cedar Rapids for four and a half years before leaving to teach Boundaries and Emotional Wellness at a corporate level. Courtney was named Eastern Iowa's Professional Women's Network 2020 Woman of the Year.
